NOIDEASWORLD ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and your rights with respect to it.

This Policy applies to all services offered through noideasworld.net ("the Website"), including the Supply Shop, the Archive, the Beats catalogue, NOIDEAS University, Friends of NOIDEA, Network Services, and the Capital programme.

By using the Website or any of its services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Website.

We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically.

INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE DIRECTLY When you create an account, make a purchase, subscribe to a service, or contact us, we may collect: your full name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number (where provided), payment information (processed and stored exclusively by Stripe — we never store card details on our servers), content you upload as a Friends of NOIDEA subscriber, communications you send us, and any other information you voluntarily provide.

INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY When you visit the Website, we may automatically collect: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed and time spent, device identifiers, and general geographic location derived from your IP address. This data is collected via cookies, web beacons, and third-party analytics tools.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

ORDER & SERVICE FULFILMENT — To process purchases through the Supply Shop, deliver digital goods, fulfil physical orders, issue Beat licences, process Capital equity transactions, and provide access to University courses and Friends of NOIDEA membership.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT — To create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and communicate with you about your account status, subscription renewals, and order updates.

PAYMENTS — To process payments via Stripe. Your card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. We receive only a transaction confirmation and the last four digits of your payment method.

COMMUNICATIONS — To send transactional emails (order confirmations, receipts, shipping updates), service notifications (subscription renewals, course updates), and, where you have opted in, marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.

LEGAL OBLIGATIONS — To comply with applicable laws, respond to legal process, enforce our Terms & Conditions, and protect the rights, property, and safety of NOIDEASWORLD and its users.

ANALYTICS & IMPROVEMENT — To understand how the Website is used, identify issues, and improve our products and services. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised where possible.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Website. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.

ESSENTIAL COOKIES — Required for the Website to function. These include session cookies for authentication, cart functionality, and security. These cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.

WITH YOUR CONSENT — We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit permission to do so.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of disputes or legal obligations. Purchase records and transaction data are typically retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements.

Uploaded content associated with a cancelled Friends of NOIDEA subscription will be removed within 90 days of cancellation unless retention is required by law or for dispute resolution purposes.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 8 — Your Rights). We will honour such requests subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain data.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted to and from the Website, access controls limiting who within NOIDEASWORLD can access personal data, and use of industry-standard payment processing via Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant).

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

ACCESS — The right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. CORRECTION — The right to request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data. DELETION — The right to request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations. PORTABILITY — The right to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format. The Website is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide more prominent notice, such as an email notification to registered users or a banner on the Website.
